Sure, they've made their name in the world of suiting, tailoring threads for the sartorially savvy who want to look sharp without compromising on comfort. But here's a little secret: Suit Supply's got more tricks up their sleeves than just suits. Their basic wear lineup is a treasure trove waiting to be discovered. We're talking tees that hit all the right notes, and cashmere and cotton sweaters that are so high quality, they'd make a sheep blush. So, if you thought Suit Supply was all about the blazers and the trousers, think again! They're offering up a pretty impressive range of essentials that could give even some dedicated basics brands a run for their money. The t-shirt

I stumbled upon Suit Supply's tees when I was in the market for a suit. The thing that immediately grabbed my attention was the cotton's unreal softness. It was like touching a cloud compared to the Uniqlo tees and noticeably lighter, too. It felt like I'd found the Holy Grail of t-shirts, especially since the Uniqlo number had a tendency to turn into a personal sauna in warmer climes (though that did have its perks in the chillier weather).

Just like with Uniqlo, I snagged about 10 of these gems in a mix of navy and white, v-neck and crew-neck.

When it came to the price tag, they were a touch pricier than the Uniqlo tees, clocking in just shy of 40 smackeroos.

One thing worth noting here is that it seems like Suit Supply has since hung up the jersey on this particular tee. The closest match they have on offer as of this scribble is the Navy Short Sleeve Crewneck. But this one's a 70% Cotton/30% Silk blend, with a price tag that'll set you back 99 quid.

Verdict

These tees have been gracing my rotation for about a pair of years now, and let me tell ya, I'm still head over heels for them. They've retained that cloud-like softness, leaving their Uniqlo cousins in the dust. Sure, a few have been honorably discharged due to some unfortunate stain incidents, and others have met their end in the washer, falling prey to my wife's bra-hooks (those things are lethal!), all because of their feather-light thinness.

When you stack them up against the Uniqlo tees, there's just no contest. The Suit Supply tees take home the gold for comfort, and right now, they're sitting pretty at the top of my favorites list.
